Review:

This is your basic charger cable for Apple products using the Lightning Connector. I have an Apple iPad, and so this charger is great for that. It’s flat and tangle free, which is fantastic. I absolutely hate a giant tangle of cords!

This cable actually works great. I don’t have the issues that I have with the cheapie ones I get from eBay. The cheapie ones I get tend to stop working after a few uses for some reason. I haven’t had any of those issues with this cable. This cable has worked from day one and is still working after a few weeks of using it. I am very happy with it.

I also love that it’s easy to roll up and store when I’m done using it. I can easily keep it out of the way and find it later on. It’s a great cable and worth getting and having one on hand!

Review:

I will buy generic cables for my devices, but I generally find that they tend to not be of the same quality as the ones that come with my devices. For example, I needed a new charger cable for my phone after my cat ate right through my brand new one after I got my new Samsung phone. I stopped and got a cheapie one and found that it just didn’t last. A week after I had it, I went to unplug it from my phone and the metal prong got stuck in my phone. I had to use tweezers to pull it out. I was NOT happy.

So, when I had to get a new one for my iPad because the original one was again eaten through by my cat, I got a clearance one somewhere that I figured would work. It turns out it started to pull away from the plug part and I had to toss it as I didn’t want to risk a fire.

(Off topic- If anyone has any clue how to get a cat to stop eating cables, please let me know! I’ve tried wrapping them in foil, spraying them with bitter spray, etc.)

Finding quality off-brand charging cables is very hard to do. So when I got the chance to try out a cable from Accessorise Your Life, I jumped at it. I needed a new cable for my iPad and this looked promising. I figured I could give it a good workout.

I love that this cable is thick and lover than the original cable. Sometimes I really need that length as I need to use my iPad and move around with it while it’s charging. A short cable doesn’t do me much good.

I must say that I will be making AYL cables my go to cable from now on! I always have a need for cables and I think this will be my new way to go! This cable just lasts!

I was given the opportunity to test out two of these 6 foot extension cords by Solid Cordz and was again happy with their product. I had previously tested their 6 foot universal power cord with great results. Like the power cord, this product is 6 feet or 72 inches in length giving you a lot of freedom of movement.

I often have trouble reaching outlets as they are few and far between, so I was thrilled to have these extension cords to be able to move some things around to where I actually wanted them as now they would reach. 6 feet is a great length as it easily allows you to add a nice amount of length to just about any cord.

I love that these cords are heavy duty and very durable. I have a cat that loves to chew through thin and medium thick cords. I’m not sure why, but she does. In any event, she won’t be able to chew threw these cords! BONUS! 

While being thick and heavy duty, they are also very flexible and easy to work with.I prefer these cords to the cheap ones you can get at the store, they just aren’t the same. My plugs fit into the end of the extension cord nice and snug, and I don’t feel like they will just fall out of it or not be fully in the holes. I have had it happen where the original cord doesn’t fit right in the extension cord’s female end. It drove me nuts! I don’t have this problem with Solid Cordz at all. I really like these extension cords. They are perfect!

I do have to say that it was nice having that extra length with the power cord. I could move my TV and computer to where I had originally wanted them with ease. It’s really frustrating when things have short cords that just won’t reach the outlet unless you stick your (for example) TV or Computer right up against the wall or just somewhere you didn’t really want them.
