I’ve been using Pure Luxe Essential Lemon Oil for a couple of weeks now and so far I’ve been very pleased with it. I love that it’s completely nature with no added chemicals or water. This is a very large 4oz bottle filled with pure Lemon oil.

Once I opened the bottle I could smell the strong lemon scent, and I was quite happy. I love the scent of lemons and it always makes me happy. I really like that they have the oil in a dark bottle to help it to last longer. The lid on the bottle was easy to open and close and it comes with a dropper lid to use with the product to dispense the oil.

Lemon oil can be used for a variety of uses: household cleaning, dull skin, acne prone skin, digestive problems, and much more. I like to use it on my skin, I like to add it to water in a spray bottle to spray and sanitize surfaces (just a few drops to the water), and another use I found for it was to put a few drops on a cotton ball and tuck it in my refrigerator to help eliminate odors. It works wonderful for all of these as well as so many more uses.

You can actually just google uses for lemon oil and find a ton of uses for it. Some people add it to perfumes, use it in candle and soap making, some people use it in recipes, etc. The uses for lemon oil are endless!

Review:

First of all, let me say this: If you haven’t heard of Michael Todd True Organics, you need to! They were kind enough to send me a product to review (the Jojoba Charcoal Facial Scrub), and honestly, before that I hadn’t ever heard of them. I have no idea how I missed out! I love that this product is 70% organic and gluten free!

I first noticed the pretty purple packaging (I’m a sucker for purple anything), and when I unsealed it, I noticed it had an incredible lavender-ish smell to it and that it was black! I was anxious to check it out, so I dabbed a little on the back of my hand to get a better smell and to get a feel. It was very creamy and had a very light/soft texture to it. Being that it is a scrub, I expected the texture! I also loved that it’s a charcoal scrub and actually looks like charcoal. I love products that are what they say they are!

I scrubbed the back of my hand with the product and noticed it felt amazing and when I went to rinse it off, it rinsed off very clean and left my hand feeling wonderful. I couldn’t wait to try it on my face!

Now when I actually used the JoJoba Charcoal Scrub on my face, I was even more pleased as it smelled amazing (increasingly so in the hot steamy shower), and it really was a nice light, smooth scrub.  I left it on my face for a bit to do its magic and when I rinsed it off, it came off very clean and easily. My skin felt absolutely amazing! I am still amazed at how well this product worked! I had baby smooth, clean, and radiant skin all day long.

I love that this product is natural, organic, and has a great charcoal in it that really works to remove the toxins in my skin. I think this product is an absolute game changer. I must say, in all honesty, that this product is an absolute must have!
