As always, I love Adovia Mineral Skin Care products! They have some of the best Dead Sea product I’ve tried, and this product is another one that I love. Adovia’s Sulfur Soap with Dead Sea Salt is a great soap that does a great job of cleansing my skin (face, back, neck, etc.). I get occasional adult acne on my face and this product seems to really help when that occurs. I also have semi-oily skin and this product is good for that too.

I love that the sulfur in this soap has antiseptic, antifungal, and antibacterial properties. These are wonderful properties when it comes to healing acne and other similar skin conditions.

Despite the name, it doesn't smell like sulfur, it actually smells very nice. Don’t let that deter you from this wonderful soap! It lathers up nicely, and feels nice when you soap up your skin. I tried it on my face first and found it to feel nice. After rinsing, my skin felt tighter and the oil was gone. The soap also rinsed off clean. I felt clean and fresh. I didn’t have any adverse reactions to the soap; however, if you have sensitive skin, you might not want to use this product as it may cause redness and irritation.

This soap would be great for anyone with oily skin all over as it’s not just for the face. I say this a lot about Adovia, but I’ll say it again. I love Adovia and their products! This particular Adovia Moisturizing Day Cream is no exception to my love. It is a thick formula moisturizer, which I happen to like (some don’t). You only need a little bit and it goes on easy and glides on smoothly. It’s just melts into your skin and makes it super soft and almost gives it a glow! It also has a light scent to it that is very pleasant.

I like to use this cream in the morning after using my vitamin C serum and I do have to say that it does work great under makeup. It doesn’t make the makeup cake up at all. It’s a wonderful moisturizer! It leaves my skin feeling super soft and smooth all day long. It’s just what my parched skin asked for!

I really hate that my skin is always so dry. It doesn’t matter what time of the year it is, my skin is always dry. It’s a real bummer, and trying to find products that actually help with it vs. mask it is hard. So when I learned about Shea butter and how effective it was for dry skin and other issues, I knew I had to try it. I’ve seen it as an ingredient in a few lotions and potions, but never just seen it by itself.

Cleopatra's Choice Shea butter is 100% organic which is a huge plus in my book. It’s totally unscented, but you could add a little essential oil if you really wanted some scent. This Shea butter would be great for using in homemade body creams, butters, lotions or other things.

Shea butter is actually great for more than dry skin- it’s good for other skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis or even acne. This is also good for using on stretch marks. Shea butter has so many uses.

This is such a nice high quality Shea butter that feels fantastic on my skin. I’ve been using it every day on my hands, feet, arms and knees (and a few other random dry patches), and have noticed a huge difference in the appearance and texture of my skin. It’s so much softer! I absolutely am hooked on Cleopatra’s Choice Shea Butter! This is a wonderful product with so many uses. I’ve seen people put this in their hair as a mask, but I haven’t tried that as my hair really isn’t dry. I think this would be fun to use in making my own lotions and potions.

I love the natural qualities of this product as I hate putting mystery chemicals on my skin that end up drying it out even more. I think my body is much more receptive to natural products! This particular product I know my body loves as it’s really changed for the better since using it. This product will also last me a long time as it comes in such a large container.

As I’ve said before, I am in love with Adovia’s products! I was so excited to be able to try this Mineral Eye Gel and share my findings with you all. I love Adovia’s product packaging, and this product was no different. It came in a sweet little box with the typical Adovia labeling. The product itself was contained in the cutest little glass jar with a metal screw top lid. It was simple to open and use the product.

The product itself was absolutely odorless/scent free. I was very happy as most eye creams/gels have a chemical-like smell to them that really puts me off. I am not sure I ever want to put something that smells impure near my eyes, let alone on my face.  The gel is very light, thin, and creamy. It is perfect for getting that light coating you want when putting around your eyes.

I have absolutely horrible looking eyes! I have the worst dark eye circles – seriously. I haven’t found a product yet that could touch them and no cover-up works to fully conceal them. It’s horrible and embarrassing at times. I also tend to get bags due to my lack of sleep a lot of the time.

I decided to put this product to the ultimate test.  I was easily able to apply a nice thin layer to my under eye area. It went on so smoothly and felt dreamy on my face. It has a slight cooling/tingly feeling to it and it absorbed very quickly into my skin. I have been using it morning and night for a couple weeks. Honestly, it hasn’t cured my dark eye circles, and I knew it wouldn’t (it’s just something I was born with I suppose), but it did seem to lighten them slightly and it has worked wonders for my eye bags. I haven’t had nearly the problem with them since using this product!

This is just one product that is a must have for anyone wanting beautiful eyes and for anyone who is serious about skin care! It’s fantastic, just like the rest of Adovia’s products.

Review:

I received this product and was very excited to try it out. It came in Adovia’s normally beautiful packaging. It was a little banged up (the box it was in), but that wasn’t a big deal. It’s the product itself that I care about most. I took it out and noticed it came in a nice glass bottle with a pumper.

I wanted to try it out right away, so I made sure to wash my face and dry it. After it dried, I attempted to pump some of the product onto my fingers and found that the pumper did not work. I was bummed out about that. I ended up unscrewing the cap to rub some of the product on my fingers from the “straw” part of the pumper. This is a little inconvenient.

So after that whole event, I finally got around to getting to try the product on my face. It went on nice and easily and absorbed quickly. You can easily wear this product under moisturizers and makeup. It’s a nice non-greasy creamy serum. I’ve been using it for a while now and have noticed my skin is softer and some of my fine lines seem to be reduced. I think the vitamin C in this product has helped with that part. The softness of my skin is wonderful and I truly believe in the power of the Dead Sea Salts.

The product really doesn’t have much of a scent and would be great for all skin types and for those with various skin issues. I think with long term use, this product would really make my skin look young and vibrant. I can’t wait to find out!

Despite the issues I’ve had with the pumper not working on the bottle, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to reduce the signs of aging (fine lines, loss of elasticity, etc). It works great!

The Adovia Dead Sea Salt soap can be used on your face or body (which is like a 2 for 1 bonus!). I actually used it on my face and body as I’m pretty dry all over. I typically don’t use bar soaps because they tend to dry my skin and make it feel really gross and unnatural. This soap is not made of unnatural ingredients, so I knew it wouldn't be a problem. I love Adovia products and this one is no different.

I have been using this soap for about a week and have already noticed a difference in my skin. My skin has been so dry that it was almost flaking. I noticed that my skin has been softer, smoother, and more hydrated feeling. I also noticed that the almost flaking appearance has gone. I have also had no reactions to this soap at all, and it certainly has not left my skin feeling tight and gross like most other bar soaps do.

This soap initially had a very strong scent after I took it out of the box, however when using it, it’s not at all strong and has a really nice, light scent that lingers in the bathroom and on your skin after using it. I really like that it leaves a nice light scent vs. a very heavy strong scent. I can’t really figure out what the scent is but it really is lovely.

Adovia’s soap also lathers up nicely and washes away clean. You don’t have that feeling afterwards that it’s still on your skin. You feel nice and clean feeling after rinsing it off.  You really don’t need to try hard to get it to lather; it does so with little soap. After using a week, the bar still looks about new! I can’t believe how long this bar of soap is lasting. I’m also guilty of using this soap to shave with since it does lather up so nicely! It does work very, very well for shaving I have found. I think I might prefer it to shave creams/gels. I also love that it’s natural! I’m all about natural!

In any event, I have to say that this is one fantastic bar of soap! You can get it at Amazon.com for $11. You would think that’s a lot for a bar of soap, however what you are getting is one fantastic bar of soap that can be used all over your body and seems to last forever!

So after trying this conditioner, I can honestly say that I am hooked. I am very picky when it comes to conditioners. I do not like conditioners that weight my hair down or make it feel greasy. I also don’t like to spend mega bucks on salon brands because I don’t always think they are better than other brands. I am also a huge fan of Dead Sea minerals.

I love that the main ingredients of this conditioner are Dead Sea water and Dead Sea salt. I feel that this product is true to its name.

This product has a really nice fragrance- light and aromatic. It has a nice white color to it and goes into my hair very smoothly and nice. After I let it sit for a minute, it rinsed out quick and easily. It made my hair feel so nice and smooth.

I was also very happy to find that my hair was tangle free. It’s unusual for my hair to not have knots in it as it’s so fine. I didn’t have to use a hair detangler for the first time in a very long time. This conditioner is just that hydrating and nourishing!

This product works wonderfully with the Adovia Dead Sea Minerals Shampoo that I had previously reviewed. I use them together and get great results. My hair is always silky smooth and hydrated. My scalp is also hydrated and itch free (I had a previous problem with an itchy scalp)!

Adovia Dead Sea Mud Shampoo

First of all, I am a huge fan of mineral skin care products. I was very excited to be able to try this product as I have such a dry and itchy scalp and nothing I've tried seems to help.  This product claims to be fast, natural, and effective at providing relief from dandruff, itchy, dry, flaky scalp as well as scalp psoriasis, and seborrhea dermatitis.While I'm mostly having issues with being itchy and dry, I do believe this product would work wonders for all the other scalp issues people do have.

When I first received this product I was impressed with the packaging. I think the labeling looks great and the color of the shampoo, itself, is unique. It's a dark brown color that no other shampoos really are. Being that this is a dead sea mud shampoo, it's no wonder it would have such a natural color to it.

Once I took a look at the packaging, I flipped the lid to smell it. I love a great smelling shampoo and was thinking this shampoo might smell a little "mineral-like". I was wrong. This shampoo has a very lovely scent- almost herbal but not really; it's almost aromatherapeutic. In any event, I was excited to try this shampoo.

So when I tried this shampoo I was happy with the scent, the feel of the shampoo and the way it lathered. I could feel relief almost immediately from the itching. Once I rinsed out the shampoo, I noticed my hair was very soft and not at all tangled and tough like it usually is from other brands.

After actually drying my hair, I noticed my hair was exceptionally soft and smooth and smelled wonderful. I am even more excited to report that my scalp remained itch free. This was all after just one use. I have continued to use this shampoo daily and find that it really keeps my scalp itch free and moisturized. I am no longer scratching at my scalp and looking like a stranger person! I am so very happy with this shampoo!

I have no desire to ever go back to another brand of shampoos again. I also want to check out their other products. If I do, I will be sure to report my findings! I highly recommend anyone with any kind of scalp issue (and even those that just want soft, smooth hair) to try this shampoo. It is amazing.
